Please check out this wonderful charity project created by photographer Val Patterson! I’m very honored to have been asked to get on board as the official writer, and hope you enjoy the fifty flash fiction stories I wrote for the icons.
All proceeds go to RAINN, LABCA and my hometown’s charity, Topanga Women’s Circle (TWC). Please support the project on facebook, twitter (@MLisaProject) and through the website!

Giorgia Horrell brings her design expertise to the project with uniquely hand-crafted frames for each portrait.
Participants of The Mona Lisa charity project include a wide spectrum of artists, actors, educators, models, musicians, writers and celebrities such as Sarah Silverman (The Sarah Silverman Program, Jesus is Magic), Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer, The Audrey Hepburn Story, The Client List), Camryn Manheim (Ghost Whisperer, The Practice), Tina Majorino (Big Love, Veronica Mars, Napoleon Dynamite), Erika Alexander (La Mission, Living Single, The Cosby Show) and more.
This is truly a great project and I’m so happy to be a part of it. I posed as two fictional icons Olive Oly and Mrs. Mia Wallace. Make sure to check out the site from now until October first!
